Many times his works went to important national and international exhibitions and were awarded the FLAP Gold Prize from International Photograph Association.

With understanding of photographic arts, Mr. Xu has researched deeply about the customs of such places as Kangba (the current Ganzi minority prefecture), Tibet, Yunan, Sichuan, and Xinjiang. Driving his 4×4 Cherokee through villages and ice peaks, he likes to take picture of natural beauties of West China, traditional customs, high mountains, and flowers. He wishes that one day he could use his car to travel through the world-roof - Ali area in Tibet.

Mr. Xu now is a freelance photographer and he has very rich experience of picture taking .He has all kinds of professional equipments. He is quite good at astronomy and geography and has his own transportation tools.
